Thread: To cruise or not to cruise.

To cruise or not to cruise.

Currently running 500 test cyp and 400 deca weekly and feeling great. Been dieting down for a competition and though these two compounds aren't the usual ones to use for that purpose I've been leaning out and getting stronger at the same time. The question I have a problem with now is whether to do a pct and take a little break and then start up again about 8 weeks before the comp or just cruise to the next cycle instead. By dec 7th I'll be ten weeks on and the contest is on the second last weekend of march. Looking for some advice from those who have competed and done one or the other please.

You could drop down to TRT Levels with your cyp and then cruise then up your dose 8 weeks out.. Depending on what compounds you wanted to run before comp.

i've never competed, so my words may not be suffice, but you porbably want to stay 'on' or atleast cruise leading up to you're contest to keep gains AND look fuller for when your on stage

Yeah this is what I was thinking. I'll be doing a serious pct after the comp and while the cruise I'll be running hcg as well. My coach suggested the same thing, but I wanted to hear from non money oriented folks before making a decision.

My first competition. I was older. But blasted and cruised for 16 month.

    Did a great pct

It took almost 8 months to get myself back to almost normal

Main thing was sperm count size shape and movement. Trying to get wife pregnant.

We have a son. So take everything into consideration.

    No guarantee full recovery. FYI.

Yeah that's the only thing I'm concerned with. If I stay on with the cruise it'll be 25 weeks on essentially which is the longest I have ever gone.

There are big risks staying on to long. Are you willing to risk being on TRT for life?

That won't be an issue. I have recovered after every cycle I've done without issue. I'm a long way from trt.

That is an unrealistic attitude and statement. You have no guarantees

True. It's not unrealistic though. Everything has been near 100% normal whenever I've come off and done my pct. I am just not worried since I am prepared.
