Anyone used Baseline's Power/Hypertrophy Routine???? Lets hear how it went!!

Its about time to switch up the routine and Baseline's Power/Hypertrophy Routine looked interesting so I was thinking of trying it. Wondered if anyone has tried it and what they thought/results.

    So lets hear!!!

Also I was wondering if it might be a good idea to split the Power and Hypertrophy days to keep the CNS happy.

    Was thinking:

    Lower Power Day
    Upper Hypertrophy Day
    Rest
    Upper Power Day
    Lower Hypertrophy Day
    Rest
    Rest

Or something like that. Any ideas!?!?

Though maybe I should try it before I go dicing it up lol.

I've used similar training methodologies throughout my training life and they are effective. My formative days were training in a gym full of powerlifters and being the only bodybuilder I saw the logic to it early on. I would not switch the days around. The second half of the weeks hypertrophy days help to prepare you for the beginning of the weeks power days.

    Ok cool, Thanks Kel.

Old routine was getting, well...old, so its time to switch it up!

Think I may use this as a bridge routine from now till my tren/prop i have coming up in a few months.

Any recommendations for a routine when on?? I'm just looking for something new and effective that will pack on the lean mass. Thanks boss!!

Really hard to suggest a routine. It's trial and error as you well know. What works for me may not work for you and vice versa. It's not so much the routine that packs on the mass as I'm sure you're training hard. Food, food and more food geared toward your goal. I've trained every way possible from powerbuilding to off season powerlifting. Variety is a great thing.

Yeah, just checking to see if I had missed anything in my years of trying to learn it all. Just thought you might have the "secret" from your avi pic lol, clearly you found what works for you.

Guess it's back to the lab for me!!

    Thanks again Kel!!

Hmmm, so the routine is low repetition (I assume 3-7 ?) or higher repetition (7-12?) days? I don't know, for a bodybuilder that wouldn't be optimal... though if you're looking to change it up for a little bit go for it.

Hey i did this for 8 weeks. I was just starting out and decided to use this routine as my first.

I can tell you some results but others i would have to get tomorrow.

    This is without any gear.

    Sure:
    deadlift went up 50lb
    bench press went up 13lb

    Unsure:
Sqauts went up over 15lb i think ~20lb
    Calves went up about 30lb
    t-bar row went up ~15lb
    Shoulder press ~10lb

I will check the numbers tomorrow and Post exact numbers.
