    Best gauge to inject/draw with?

Previously I used to 20G 1" needle to draw and a 23G 1" to inject but is it really necessary to use a larger barrel to draw with? Just wondering because I purchase needles in bulk and it just seems like it would be easier to use the same size to draw and inject with instead of buying two boxes of different sizes.

The size of your drawing needle is all about time it takes to draw, If you don't mind spending the extra 20-30 seconds drawing then what does it matter

Everything I needed right there. Thanks.

I use 25 g for both, I always preheat my gear in a pan of water to about 110° by doing so it takes maybe 30 seconds per ml to be pulled into the syringe and by the time I am ready to pin the AAS in the barrel is slightly above body temp so its absorbed by the muscle easier.

This is exactly what I am currently doing. Its easier to draw with the 20g. Much faster. I would change my pin anyway so I might as well use a larger one to draw with.

22g to draw (anything to big runs greater risk of tearing chunks from the rubber stopper)

25g to pin....no need to heat it as the rate of absortion in the body is the same no matter the temp.

I use an 18g attatched to a 25ml syringe. I will draw out about 15-20 ml's at a time and leave it in the barrel, from there I remove the 23g pin and pull the plunger back to 3ml and fill as much as i need, then replace the pin and inject. It takes less time to pin every time by filling out of the 25ml barrel and keeps the pin from getting dull from the stopper, it also keeps the stopper from looking like a pin cushion if you have a large 100ml bottle.

I use an 18g to draw and 25g to inject. I don't think the 18g is damaging the stopper on the vial, as I can't even see a mark where the needle went through.

No it doesn't really damage it...I have had one bottle where the rubber was removed by the 18g and was floating in the bottle the size of a grain of sand. You can barely see it and I go back in the same hole everytime.

I did and saw 20ML...I have never heard of anyone injecting with those lol.

So your saying you fill the syringe and then just inject the amount needed then leave the rest sitting in the pin till next injection? Is that right???

NOOOOOO. I use the 20ml ( which actually has a 25ml mark on it) as a temp holding vessel. It keeps from having to pull from the bottle everytime...get it. Plus it's easier to just unscrew the pin off the 23g 1 1/2" and stick the 18g pin connected to the 25 ml syringe down into the 3ml syringe and push out 1 or 1 1/2 ml. Do you understand now? It's a matter of speed, convenience, and preservation of the rubber stopper on original bottle!

Have thought about that... the oil going rancid on the pin screw or such.... but I change the 18 regularly and wipe everything with alchohol alot, have never had a problem in 7 years but I guess it only takes one time.
