    LBM fat loss question

I've read it in a few posts but can't seem to find it anywhere.

Can someone clarify the formula for fat loss through diet using LBM.

    LBM x 15 = calorie ceiling?

When I was 230 and 22% bf 405 had me take in 2200 a day.

So what would 214 and 16% bf be?

    Thanks in advance!

    16% of 214 = 34.24 lbs of fat.

    214 - 34.24 = 179.76 LBM

    179.76 x 15 = 2696.40 (TDEE estimation)

Using this formula, your TDEE would be the same as it was before because you maintained the same LBM. 405 had you at 2200 probably because it's 500 below TDEE. So I would stay there.

Ah, but by your math I would subtract 500 from TDEE to get a deficit right?

That is correct, if you're cutting.

2696.40 - 500 = 2196.40 (which is why you need to eat 2200 calories to cut)

Thanks man! It was the -500 part I was missing! Tomorrow (if I feel well), cut starts
