I like to have 100g cottage cheese or 4 egg whites + 1 whole egg about half an hour before bed. (Currently on a cut, I would eat double that on a bulk)

It does not matter if you eat before bed anyone who says its bad for you is either old school or still reading into all the "Bro-science" bull shit. Main thing is too hit your macro nutrients![]()
If I'm Bulking yes I'll eat before bed for sure. but if I'm cutting my last meal will be at 6 or 7 in the afternoon. It's vary for person to person, you can try for a week or 2 and see how your metabolism react.
Agreed with LiL - whether you eat before bed or not, just make sure you EAT and hit your macros. I wouldn't say it doesn't matter; on a bulk, it's a must IMO. Feed your optimal growth window (sleep). During a cut, I don't feel it's necessary but it won't hurt - depending on WHAT you eat. e.g. I wouldn't eat a big portion of carbs. Actually, I wouldn't eat any carbs at all before bed, but that's just me.
i usually have a steak before bed
when im bulking ill have 2x steaks and a few eggs
Depends on your goals but of course eat before bed and during the night when you get up to go to the toilet, 24 hours in a day and in all honesty ive added lbs of muscle eating day and night when bulking![]()
I wouldn't eat slow digesting carbs before bed because carbs can delay the release of gh. But I've never had eating late be the cause of me getting fat or hinder my progress.
