Hello Guys,
I have a doubt. Please do clarify. I am currently in the phase of gaining weight. I am gaining weight at present(i.e.,) my weight is increased. But i see those gains in shape rather than bulk mass. What does that say ?

Welcome! Please give us your stats and specific goals as well as a sample of what you are eating and if you are natural or not. All of this will help to help you.

I am male 24 yrs of age. I was 121lbs 3 weeks before. Now i am 126 lbs.
Where on the body do you see the difference in shape?
If it's your belly or hips getting bigger and softer, then you're gaining fat.
What do you eat?
how often?
what are your macros? ( protein, carbs and fats)
How often do you work out?
How do you work out?
121lbs isnt very much, how tall are you?
Actually what i was trying to say is most ppl say they bulk up. But when i see the difference in me i am getting muscular shape rather than becoming huge. Is that the correct way he body grows when he is in bulking phase ?
Yes, more muscular is good.
As long as the weight is increasing, and you're seeing an increase in muscle-size then you're "bulking" Some people like to eat more calories so they also gain allot of fat when they "bulk" and some eat a bit less calories so that they gain very little fat when they "bulk"
If weight is getting lower, and you see more definition of muscles, then you're "cutting"

Thanks dude. Now i understand. I guess i am eating bit less calories around 2500. Thats why less fat gets into my body which also increases my muscle size.
