won't go no matter how hard I push

Just finished a 2ML pin. Loaded everything like normal. Jabbed the left outer quad, aspirated fine, pushed on the plunger and nadda! No matter how hard I pushed nothing would go. Pulled out and hit the left delt instead, no prob. This is the 2nd time this has ever happened to me.

    Why won't the juice flow?

Yep. I have scar tissue in both my glutes. Upper outer. I have actually had imprints from the plunger on my finger where i was pushing so hard. Now, i know where it is and easily avoided. Or. you could go w/a longer pin and possibly go thru the scar tissue. I've heard of guys doing that. I just avoid the area all together.

Now, you'll feel the scar tissue from time to time. Sometimes when i bend over it stretches the scar tissue(my guess) and it stings a bit. Just a constant reminder of how many times i abused that spot. haha...Nothing to worry about though.

    Yes. Scar tissue.

Pinned my triceps yesterday and then worked them hard last night. Nice and sore today. I will be using a heating pad tonight for sure!!!!

Web u guys talk of scar tissue, this means u can't inject into that spot ever again? And it's from pinning too often n the same spot?

Isn't this when deep friction massage comes into play to break up the scar tissue?

Lunk....how many cycles have you done? More importantly, how many cycles have you done in your quads? (just try to guesstimate I suppose)

Also if you could remember the number of long ester/short ester cycles that would be great. As you've probably pieced together I'm trying to figure out how long I've got (roughly) before I need to learn to pin my glutes as well (delts will be for HCG only I think)

This is my 6th cycle and only 2 have been short ester cycles. Quads have been my primary although I do alternate with Glutes and Delts. I warned you today that more sites are needed as I am sure the biggest reason for this is that my first cpl cycles were quads only!

I'm assuming he means deep tissue massage. This is believed to be able to break uo some amount of scar tissue...I'm not convinced it works! Being married to a massage therapist I have had one or two

Not necessarily "ever again". It depends on the density of the fibrous/connective tissue that has formed in the area. Cross friction massage, myofascial release, and various stretching techniques may help by remodeling the fibrous scar and reduce the coarseness of the affected tissue.

The best way to minimize scar buildup is to use numerous injection spots and rotate between them as often as possible, injecting in each area no more than once every 14 days.

Age, heredity, and skin characteristics are also factors determining the formation of scar tissue.

It isn't the number of cycles, it is the number of injections. Plus, improper injection technique, shaky hands and larger needles can so more damage.

You need to learn to inject in quads, glutes and delts at the very minimum. Are you injecting exclusively in quads? Ironically, that seems to be a place that a lot of people have the most discomfort...I know I do.

Why delts for hCG? You should be injecting hCG sub-q in your belly fat.

lunk, did you feel something hard as you were inserting the pin into the "scar"? if i was hard enough to not expand at all while you pushed, you might have felt it pierced through as you were inserting. that could warn you in the future.

the quad being such a large muscle group, you probably can just move 1 inch up or down on your next pin to avoid the scar.

I've got a couple of spots in the glutes that make a squeaking sound when the needle goes in. I can either bury the pin deeper to get past the scar tissue or just move over a bit. Never had one totally just lock up and not push in yet.

This is it. Happens to me more than I'd like in glute shots. But, with a little work and discomfort, the syringe can usually be emptied.
