how does the body react to cycles of lesser value than previous cycle(s) ?

    Hey Guys,

I am contemplating my next cycle which i would like to start in January 2013. 12 week cycle. In the past i have always done cycles that consisted of test e and winny or tbol. My last cycle ended in August and i had a shitty PCT but finally everything is about 90% working and functional again : )

My question is, would a cycle consisting of just test e 500mg (250 per injection) be a waste of my time? Should i at the least stick with my usual cycles and add in winny? I have always been curious how the body reacts to cycles of lesser value than previous cycles. Anyone have experience they can share? (i tried doing a search but was not successful)

    stats:
    34
    6'2"
    210 lbs
15% body fat (will get down to probably 12% by start time)

Thank you in advance for your feedback

Just to elaborate what do you mean by everything working 90% ? Did you get BW done about a month after pct or earlier?

i have appointment with my endo this month to get full bloodwork done. My urologist that i have seen for years would not test me for anything other than my "T" level. we butted heads many times and now i am on to a new doctor that will hopefully say yes to full bloodwork.

the 90% comment was because previously, my "lil buddy" was operating at like 10% functionality (only morning wood). Now i am having wood popup throughout the day but i am sure its not back to its usual frequency.

500mg Test /wk does wonders! As long as your diet is on point, you'll make terrific gains.

Sorry phone knacked up. Yeah I think if your not a blast and cruiser and your receptors have chance to reset then there is no reason to try and outdo your previous cycle. Diet is the key to gaining AAS just help!

Personally, i think you should give it alil more time to COMPLETELY recover. Then...since your doc is being somewhat non-compliant with your wishes. I think you should get requisition forms from an online source(privatemdlabs, ect) to get the tests you need completed. This would eliminate guess work and wondering whats going on.

Baseline lab values are pretty important in the event that you need to troubleshoot if issues pop up on/off cycle.

I was curious because some guys at my gym started chatting about AAS and i was within listening distance and overheard 1 guy telling the other guy that you only go up with every cycle. That if you stay the same or decrease the body wont recognize it like it did previously.... NOT that i believed him but i started wondering how does the body react to it when its use to always getting 500mg/week on cycle to a new cycle of only 250mg/week....I guess it makes sense that it is still more then the bodies natural production and with equal dieting and training one would see gains.

i agree 100%. I am hopeful for a january 2013 start time but if bloodwork comes back with a red flag or if i need more time to recover, i have no problem postponing. i am just optimistic for a start time in january.....

i am curious and anxious for my full bloodwork results.

I guess there's a bit of bro science to that but everybody's body is different. I've read threads on here with guys reacting off 250mgs a week then again I've heard gixxerboy say it takes a lot more fir him. I guess a good starting point is 500mgs then once the gains don't come with that then increase the dosage. If your still making good gains at 500mgs a week then why change.

Alot if guys I know at the gym brag about how much they use like its a badge, yet I can make the same gains on a lot less.

she works in medicine (hearts) and is very knowledgable and book smart. I love getting into "debates" with her with anything that has to do with the body. Just happy now to have a term for it to back me up. "bro science"

Ha ha ha good analogy. It's good you have someone to 'debate' with that has a medical background. Some of the vets in here come from medical backgrounds so they are the exact types if people to be getting advice from.
