Can I ever Juice again after long shutdown?

This one goes out to those with the knowledge such as Swifto or those who have some experience post long shut down.

My last cycle 1 yr ago of test/deca was the first I ever had trouble with and shut me down completely from week 5. Had labs throughout the year with LH/FSH levels of <0.1 for a time.
That was Jan 2012 now at Dec 2012 I had zero libido for the entire year since this hit, currently 75% of the way through Dr Scallys restart protocol and feeling good, morning wood and sex without cialis for the first time, long may it last!

Question is; if the restart is successful and I get libido and levels of test, e etc back to where they should be can I ever juice again or will there be a high risk of fast long shut down again?
Is it likely that there will forever be an increased sensitivity to test/deca and are there any alternatives for getting gains?

Sounds like you're in need of TRT / HRT, in which case you will be able to cycle again & again, you'll just go back to your therapy dose after your cycles, therefore being shutdown will no longer be a concern. Have you talked to a doctor about TRT / HRT?

I agree with the Bear sounds like your system will give you problems if you cycle again. So unless you wat to be on trt for the rest of your life. You need to stay clean Bro but you may end up on it anyway.

Not yet and would have no issues with starting TRT if needed but what worries me is that even when my test was 2557 I still had absolutely no libido! I would think with that much test floating around I could have cut glass with the little fella but no.

I now realise that the balance of hormones for libido etc has more to do than high test which is what worries me, took so long to get things close to normal I don't want to be in that dark place again (wish I had known about Scallys restart earlier).

Thanks but with my years (47) I am sure that TRT ain't far off anyway but I will look at that once this restart is finished and levels have settled, get labs done and take it from there.

There may have been excessive aromatising (conversion of Testosterone to Estrogen) which can also kill libido. Do you recall what your E2 levels were at the time of your high Test. levels?

Sounds like you have a serious decision to make, got your hand caught in the cookie jar to many times. So decide, more than likely another yr problem, possibly trt for life, or stay off completely.

Gonna bump this one with the 2nd part of my question.

With increased sensitivity/risk to test/deca and are there any alternatives for getting gains that won't mess up the HPTA?

A fine tuned diet & training regime will provide surprising results without effecting your HPTA at all.

Sounds like trt may be an option. But from what you've said estrogen management needs to be looked at as well. High test can cause high estrogen with Ed and labido as a side effect

I think of this now already and I am not far in.

You got 15 years on me. Watch all of your hormonal #'s closely. If they are out wack, straighten them artificially.

The Bear 79 I followed a good diet and heavy weight regime, did all the right stuff and was getting nowhere with it, I hit a level that was quite a few kilos off where I wanted to and used to be.
Sh1t I was actually losing muscle mass even though I was eating and training well.
That was the reason for the last cycle I did, things were just getting worse.
