To steroid or not to steroid...

    Hi guys,
New here to this forum. Im 23 and one of these people that no matter how much porridge, pasta, nuts etc i eat or mass gainers i drink i find it nearly impossible to put on weight. Im considering going on a course of steroid tablets and would just like to know peoples experience with tablets? Are the results good? Any side effects like mood swings, shrinking nuts etc :-) any advice you guys can give would be much appreciated!

    Welcome Iano.

I would post this question up in the Nutritional Forum along with your stats, body fat %, TDEE (LBMx15) and everything you ate the other day. This will assist those helping you to develop the right diet for you to gain the weight you want.

If you can't gain weight on diet what makes you think taking steroids are going to make you put on pounds of LBM to your body? Simply put you're not eating enough. If you cant put on weight from food you shouldn't be taking steroids for damn sure. Good luck

    Great advice from Mickey....as usual!

Remember, what, when, and how you eat all contribute to healthy lean gains.

Mass shakes are crap. Nothing but loads of sugars and fillers designed to fatten you up!!! They should be called FAT gainers and not mass gainers. Don't believe the marketing crap you hear. Get your nutrition fixed, commit to it, and you'll find gaining weight properly is possible.

No food will make you fat or skinny, excess calories will and calorie deficits will. Thousands upon thousands of people fallow IF and IIFYM including yourself if you're gaining weight, sugar is not the enemy nor is a specific type of carb. Excess calories are.

With regards to mass gainers. Is it better to get good whey then add ur own carbs to it if u r short on ur food carbs. Sometimes it's hard to eat enough with work so a carb loaded shake seems like the answer?
