24 hour shift

So I got put on staff duty for Christmas. For those that don't know its a 24 hour shift.

And since i'm bored I wanted to see how Christmas is going for everybody.

Thank you for your service. It is very much appreciated!! I can sympathize with you to a degree. I work for a public utility system and I'm on call on holidays too. Thankfully, Xmas was not my holiday this year. I drew Thanksgiving this year. Get the shift behind you and go have yourself some time with the family...you've earned it! Merry Christmas!!

Damn brotha, well at least you got internet access so you can be with your second family!! Me I stopped in to say hi to mine...now I gotta get my lazy ass outside and split some wood and light a fire to keep the first family happy.

Thanks for your sacrifice, after all its due to the work of people like yourself that the rest of us can enjoy our Christmas knowing that the skies will only have shooting stars in them tonight!!!!

My Christmas is chill and loving it. Just the wife and me with some other coming over later.

I was in the service and remember working Christmas a couple times. But we got a lot of time off for working that day. Which I took full advantage of going skiing.

Thanks for the support, my wife is bringing pumpkin pie and stuff for me tonight haha, not a total loss.
I'm thankful my deployment got pushed back so I can have Christmas and my birthday here

This Christmas was one of the best I have ever had. I ate with two different friends' families (Christmas eve / Christmas day) and short version it was the first Christmas I felt like I belonged and was wanted around and accepted. Just a great Christmas experience overall.

Christmas was great here. Got my 2 year daughter a power car. She had to sit in the floorboard to reach the pedal. She has zero concept of that brake though. She just used trees, porches, cars, mailboxes, ect for her brakes. She had a huge smile and laugh the whole time though! That's all I needed to see for this day!
