Hi all. I have a long history of lifting, but not recently. When I was 19, I was 6 feet tall and weighed about 140lbs, soaking wet. I think my 1rm on bench was about 80lbs. I looked like I had a disease. Seeing that I wasn't "filling out" as had been promised by well meaning relatives I took matters into my own hands. I worked out hard and heavy from about '91 through 2002. Gains came very slow. I got A LOT stronger but couldn't seem to get past 160lbs. I supplemented for about 5 years back at the turn of the millennium. Hit a plateau again at 185lbs, then again at 198. After I broke the 198 plateau I was going for 220lbs, then stopped working out. I don't know why really. I just stopped. One week turned into a month, turned into a year, now a decade. that's it. I'm done not working out.
Been out of the game for about 10 years. Yes, I said years! I'm an ecto with a high metabolism so I'm not as out of shape as I could be, looking to get back into it. I'm 42, but I look 32Haha. When I was in my prime I weighed 210lbs at 6ft even, 1rm bench was 365. Probably about 8% bf. Now I'm over 230lbs, still 6ft tall., and a lot weaker. Probably cannot bench my own weight now. Strange...

Most of this is in my profile. This board was recommended to me. I'm pretty sure I have been on it before, browsing. Anyways, I hope I can be of some use here. Although I don't look like it anymore, I know what I'm doing. I should be back in shape within 3 months - if I don't have a heart attack on the way.
I attached a pic of my butt-white arm as it looks now, even though it's embarrassing. Is what it is! Still measures in at a little over 16". The fat I need to lose is all around the middle, which I am not showing because I want to pretend it isn't there. No records!
