omega 3 fish oil

I was just wondering if any one else has a negative reaction to fish oil pills? Besides the fact that my burps reek of fish which is bad enough, They make me wanna vomit after about 10-15 mins. and my stomach feels queezy for along time after. Anyone else have this problem?

I had that problem when I was buying cheap pills, after some research and spending a good money on it,
My burps are history, I buy Triple strength fish oil (gnc).

take them after you eat. Thats the only way I can handle them. The more I eat before I take my fish oil, the less it comes back up. I find it's the taste of my burps is what upsets my stomach, eating first helps.

Thanks, i will give it a shot. I was taking them in the morning but I cant tolerate that anymore...I feel like crap till about noon..I'm also gonna look into getting some better pills. One of my friends told me that he once had some that had some mint in them so when he burped, thats what he tasted...It wouldnt be so bad if it tasted like normal fish, but it tastes like fish thats been laying dead on the beach for a week.

Also curious about the vitamin E?

Why take it with vitamin E?

Because it protects the fatty acids. Otherwise you are wasting most of the good.

Bigshotvictoria is right - take them with food to avoid that queezy feeling. I take 2g 3 x/day of NOW Brand.

Take it with food in general to help it digest and absorb better.
