    Thoughts

I'm currently in training for my first comp this September 2013 coming. My cycle layout is 7 weeks on 4 weeks off until 12 weeks out of the comp then 12 weeks on, 2weeks out drop all injects and use orals.

Question is about pct, I'm on for 7 weeks switching between sust250 and test cyp each cycle these are long esters right so COULD I drop these esters 1 or 2 weeks before im due to finish my cycle and switch to test prop and dbol to taper down/finish then I can start pct almost straight away for 3 weeks then have a week where I take nothing rest up and then start cycle again?

    OR

can I use the long ester all the way to the end of my cycle wait a week and start pct for 3 weeks but straight after pct I jump straight back on? ( I don't like this idea because I want at least a week where I'm not taking anything....) but I gotta do what I gotta do. Thanks for the advice.

What are your current stats and cycle history. Your profile says you are 21. Have you read up on the cycling before your endocrine system is fully developed?

If you're only going to be off-cycle for a short period of time PCT can be a bit pointless. In this case, all you're doing is stimulating your natural testosterone production only to shut it right back down again. That's a bit stressful to the body. I always found it best if my off-season cycle was going right into my contest cycle to simply bridge on a TRT level of test during that small window rather than come off completely. Now if you did switch to Prop the last few wks of your off-season, sure, you could run a PCT for a few weeks and it might make more sense but even then it's a pretty short lived period of time.

Also, I wouldn't plan on dropping all your injectables before your show. There's no point in this. If you're using standard contest gear you'll want to run it all the way up to the day of the show. The exception could be your testosterone. In that case, you may or may not need to severely cut the dosing back the last few weeks but rarely is it necessary to completely stop it. You'll feel a lot better on at least a TRT level of test and any water retention that does occur (which shouldn't be much) can easily be taken care of with your final few days of prep.

Note: I know this guy's only 21, so I'm sure I'll get flamed for responding, lol!
