19 Year Old Looking to Run Deca+Sust

    Hey guys,

I am a complete noob and have been lifting for about 1 year now. I have been lurking these forums and the forums on bodybuilding.com for a long time and gathered a large amount of important information. I am an ectomorph and was standing at 117lbs 5'11" before I began lifting one year ago. I stepped up my diet and started to train hard and I now weight 155lbs. I am well aware that I am nowhere near my natural limit in muscle development and that getting on the gear at this age could be detrimental to my health down the road. My question is just HOW bad would it be if I ran just ONE cycle of Deca+Sust to get my gains moving along a bit faster, and if it would be possible to maintain those gains afterwards, since one cycle would probably only bring me up to my natural threshold and not too far beyond that from what i've gathered, especially since I have yet to hit my threshold.

And if Deca+Sust is too dangerous for someone in my situation are there any other cycles you would recommend? Prohormones maybe?

    Thanks.

no one is going to answer your question. You're to young... period. Get to lifting for more than 1 whole year, eat right and a lot. Stay in the nutrition forums and learn.

    Welcome

1st you are on the right track. Congrats! Your diet seems to be paying off for you. But you really need to concentrate on diet and training a little more. As you grow you will need to eat more. This might be holding you back as you might still be on the same diet as you've been on for quite sometime. You need to adjust this in order to grow.

Using AAS at your age puts you at a great risk for ED, fatigue and a few other undesirables that i'm sure you don't want any part of.

I suggest you hit our Nutriton Section and Workout Forum to get better ideas. You have an abundance of natural hormones going thru you right now. Use them to the fullest.

PH's are a big no. They are garbage and could screw you up just as bad.

Yes, i've been on 3000kcal and 160g protein since I weighed 117, I've been considering stepping it up to 3500 or 4000kcal per day and 180g protein. I'm sometimes frustrated by how slow this process is though, my ideal physique would be that of Jeff Seid

I would say that the biggest issue here is not age, but lifting experience... If somebody wants to start juicing at 19, well it is his decision, I started at 19 too BUT I had over 5 years lifting and nutrition experience.. I have been to two junior competitions naturally! So it is not just that you did not achieve your genetic potential, you body has hardly accepted the gains from your first year... Steroids are not some magic pills or substances which will make you grow overnight. You have to know your body you have to know how to listen to your body to make necessary adjustments to the cycle, to the nutrition to the training to everything... And believe me, you don't have these abilities after one year of lifting.

And another thing.. If you don't want to go over your natural threshold as you said you want the gear to "bring you up to my natural threshold", why do you want to use? You will get there WITHOUT GEAR IT JUST TAKE TIME. Why do you want to hurry so much? Once you hit your natural threshold what will be next? If you don't wanna go further and do competitive bodybuilding, stay off my friend.

3000 calories IMO at your age is not enough... up the calories by 500 per day every few weeks until you start to see fat gains. and then cut it back a bit.

Better yet, calculate your TDEE (total daily energy expenditure) making sure to use LBM (lean body mass)x15.

You took 44 pounds in 1 years... and you want use aas... CMON! I hardly took 35 lbs in 4 years!

How bad could it be?? Very serious injury + TRT for the rest of your life. Think about it twice.

If you grow so fast, just don't think about aas it'S ****ing useless in your situation. Keep eating and training and you'll do just fine.

    GL bro

45lbs in one year's time is pretty massive gains. Granted at 5'11 and 117lbs, you were on the verge of death but still that's a big gain. Look at it like this if you gained 45lbs in one year and next year you only gained half that, you still made 22.5lbs progress. I don't know anyone who wouldn't think that is a good year.

You're still young and you aren't anywhere near your natural potential. I mean shit, you still have a lot to learn about how you should be training and dieting after one year. I think you should give it some time and look in to working on your training and diet.

Yeah man I know, but I still am not as defined as I would like to be. My ideal physique is that of Zyzz and Jeff Seid, but I guess I'll just wait it out. However if AAS DID come into play would deca+sust be a bad choice?

You should look up to other people instead of that Zyzz. And at this point in your training career, using any gear is a bad choice. It's not a sprint it's a marathon. If you listen to the vets on here and do what they say, you'll end up in the long run with a better physique than if you go against their advice. You're 19 right now, do you really want to fvck with your endocrine system? Especially after only 1 year of lifting weights? I mean your endocrine system is still developing, but forget that. Your tendons and ligaments have barely started to get used to weight training. Running gear will put stress on them and you might end up with a real bad injury.
