    Manipulation under anesthesia?

I am just wondering if any know about this or had it done. Looking into it a possible option for freeing up hip to increase ROM . Thanks.

    Yes
Best done post op for stubborn and one directional adhesions....not necessarily for large general stiffness like what you have

As in.... You squat how much??? And ur hips are stiff and you can't increase rom??

Now imagine a 5'10" male ortho surgeon who hasn't seen a gym in years....get up on a table that u are passed out on and...what?!?!...he jumps on your hips while in flexion position (yes relaxed) and ?? Again no simple adhesion so he would be mobilizing your hips as far as he can?? But he last did a pushup a few years ago and can barely lift your weight..???

I know, exagerations everywhere but you get the idea...

I have my doubts it would do as much as you think it will...compared to the short course corticosteroids and self stretching...

Now if you were talking spinal manips...or easier joints like shoulder/knees/elbows...that's a different story...
