anyone else gets bored of work ?

i have a desk job
chemical process engineer. I sit at the same place everyday doing the same designing stuff and going over drawings and meet same people about same stuff.... All the people at the company are 65+ which sucks. Because i dont get to have a real friend from work who i can be friends with outside the work time... Im only 25 ( well almost) . its Just i get really annoyed somedays because its the same thing over and over and its a desk job and its the same people saying same stuff...Yes it pays really well ,very close to 6 digits but its boring, everyday i just look at the time and once its 5 pm im out!!!!
btw we have 0 females , well there is one 70 years old woman LOL. im a married guy but its good to have some female friends at work. it would be cool. the company we share the building with has like 200 women who looks like models!!! i didnt believe my eyes when its 8 am and girls in dresses start showing up, i believe they hire you only if you are cute girl... sux looking from the window at that THEN look back at people at my company and its whole bunch of old boring people

but cant leave it cuz its good money and pays mortgage, bills, insurance and everything!

Well if you hate your job just quit mate why do you do it if you are unhappy? I am 24 i work in minning i drive trucks on a 4 weeks on 10 day off roster. I make about 200k a year. Not much i no as i am one of the lowest paid in my company. On may 1 i am retiring. I have 350k in the bank and my house is about to sell for 500k. I am going to move to thailand and work on my dream of being a amateur pro body builder. Training a few hours a day and tanning on the beach for the rest and maybe banging a few hot asians in te process. Ive never banged a asian before. I dont plan on living to be to old as it does not apeal to me. Mid thirtes is fine for me. So i think 850k should last me till when ever i meet the repear. My point is do what makes you happy. Lifes not just about making money. Get another job who cares if it pays shit money just do what makes you happy not anyone else cause at the end of the day you only have yourself you can rely on. Not your family not your wife not your friends not anyone. A man can only rely on him self. People you think you can trust will stick that knife in your back and rip out your heart.

you are right, but i cant do that. I cant just quit. i have family to take care of
my wife works as web designer , works from home. she is always working and barely makes 50K a year
so it comes to me to handle 80% of everything... i dont have problem with money but its good to have extra
as for dream job. all i like to do is train and talk to people about training thats why im trying to find time to get personal training certification and then maybe i will own a gym and i can work there night time like from 6-11 or so.... then at least i will be doing my dream Job in addition to the job in doing now to make money....thats the only way...

Mines pay big dollars because you have to live in the dessert. And yes i ment retire at 24 move to thailand were its cheap and just live a simple life of gym and tan.

You should look into moving to perth theres plenty of work you said your a engineer im sure youl get a good job in some mine somewere. Or even canada there mines pay big bucks too.

to get to 200k you need PhD in engineering with 10+ years experience ...more like 20 years
you can achieve that salary in your 50's
before that its almost impossible unless you are a doctor i would say

Thats why i hate college ay in my country it gets you nowere. In australia most peoPle who do not go to college make more money than people who do go its crazy. So called blue collered jobs pay big dollars in australia. A laborer job pays about 150k here and all they have to do is spot trucks and machines when they reverse make sure they dont hit anything. The lady who cleans our rooms in the camp makes 90000k and all she does is give you clean sheets and towels twice a week. I could go on. The traffic control guys who stand on the road holding the stop sign make $55 a hour.

He has. Lol. He is such great husband material too. Problem is with me. Guy is 6'4" with paws for hands and this is not a concern but he is morbidly obese. I am cool with every thing but the obese. He is so sweet. Must be 330 ish. Pity really. I encourage him but he seems to have no willpower. He would be a great husband and a good father. I worry about his health. Like I say he would be a sweetheart and fun to knock around with. He stands in all these weddings. But he is lonely.

Granovich the amount of money to be made here in australia with oil mining and gas is insane. Im in the process now of trying to get my foot in the door but it is easier said than done.

I have the credentials but no experience, catch 22. I recently scored a job here locally as an excavator for a 12 month contract, once finished if i ship sail to where the state is all the work which is Western australia, with my experience they are screaming for good operators i could been on anywhere between $45 - $65 an hour, and cause they are long shifts 12 hours, the money is mind boggling. Of course this is not for everyone as euro has stated its in isolated areas majority of the time staying in camps doing 2 - 4 weeks straight and depending on the company how much time off is to there discretion.

Money does not always bring you happiness, but at euros age and my age it certainly is an incentive, im single atm and im very money hungry, if your in a relationship though it can be tough, cause your apart from each other for so long. Which is why i say it is not for everyone, most people are happy to live there civilised life in a major city working for half the wages and have there gf and family around, cause thats how they stay happy. When your out there in the middle of no where you dont have these luxuries as u can see why sacrifices come big rewards.

So if euro wants to retire when he is that young why not? He has done the hard yards and has paid his taxes, and with the experience he would have now from what he is doing, he could always return and finding another similar job should not be a problem.

Also with your degree chemical engineer i would of thought 6 figures would be the minimal you would be getting. Just goes to show each country varies.

So in short, if you can show at least 8 years of Spec. Ops. training accompanied by a proven track record................then I can get you hired, assuming you have the required degrees as well. I know you're smart enough to get the degrees, so now all you need some special combat training & experience.
