I've heard some negative things about these pay to bid sites. Such as being continuously out bid at the last second by people working for the site. Essentially making it a scam because you lose the item thus losing the money you paid for however many bids you placed.

I'd exercise a lot of caution with this stuff. An 800 dollar tv for pennies on the dollar really?

they charge u like 75 cents a bid, then the bid increases by 1 cent every time someone bids, its a hidden way to get u to spend money and plays into the whole gambling mentality..

they are making BANK!

say 8$ for a ipad mini.. thats 800 bids to get there... at 75 cents each thats 600$ given for them. and thats a low profit..
i just lookin on the site, New iPad/Retina Display 32GB Wifi (4th Gen) is at 42$ and goin up.. thats 3150$ money they get, to dish out something that costs 800$?... massive profits!
