i want to be a bodybuilder

    hey guys,

this is my first day having this account and id really like some advice.

I've always showed a large interest in health and wellness but as I've gotten a little older (20), I've blossomed a desire to actually compete on a stage or be in magazines some day and show off my hard work!

Ive not been training very long, but i would love to see how far i can take my body. i am 100% natural right, but not opposed to cycling, i would just love some advice on how to take that next step in the journey and get noticed. i plan on competing within the next year.

i believe i have potential i just need some guidance to get started and get serious!

    Stats
    Age-20
    Height-6'1'
    weight-215
    lifting-1 year

Welcome! If you keep at it hard you'll keep gaining without help from AAS. It's advised not to take anything till you're 25(ish). Run any earlier and you run a risk of damaging your endo system.

Agree with soar, btw one year of lifting is not enough to taking it to next lvl.

Train and eat hard at least 4more years before considering aas.

    Good luck mate!

Honestly I really wish I would of stayed natural and done natural competitions. At least started by doing natural competitions. I believe I would be a much better competitor against my competition. Once you bring supplementation into the picture its sad to say but its almost a numbers game of how much you can get, take, afford, and how much your body can handle from the drugs....

Competing is awesome man. Keep lifting hard and eating big. There are plenty vids on YouTube tht can give you some contest insight and posing tips. I made some of my best gains naturally between 20-24. When I was 21 I weighed in right under 200lbs. Now I'm setting at a pretty solid 232. I did just start my diet cycle but I was able to climb up to 230 without gear.
