Anyone used it before? I got a serious crease in my forehead and thought about getting it done. How much does it cost? How effective is it?

That's for girls.
This is a serious answer. Try preparation h first. It will tighten the skin.Originally Posted by S&S_ShovelHead

I have a friend who is certified to perform botox injects...she does it to herself all the time and i have not seen any change!
I thought Botox was only a temporary fix.... To reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles with filler not permanent... I could be wrong though....
I think Cape is on to something. I have a friend who is a doctor and he says prep h will get rid of under eye darkness and circles if applied there.
I'll tell you what will work wonders is that chit you put on your hair if you are balding mild to moderate. I have a tube in my bathroom I have never opened. Multiple brands, Toppix is the big one lately if you just want to look younger / more attractive.
Old body builders use it on the stomach if the skin is loose before a show it works.
But if you're really interested, do some basic online research before you go meet with a plastic surgeon or cosmetic dermatologist. You have options other than botox, such as hyaluronic acid (Restalyne, Juvederm), collagen, and a whole bunch of other skin fillers. This site might help you start your research and introduce you to some of your options:

Not listed on that site is the option of having your own fat used as a filler. Here are a bunch of sites with more info on that:

If I knew more I would share with you. From what I've seen and heard, I think it's best to stay away from botox and skin/lip fillers bc for many it becomes an obsession and a slippery slope of where to stop. I've heard of cosmetic products that contain capsaicin that are supposedly very effective against wrinkles and cost around $20. Maybe a better place to start.
