Poll: Which do you prefer? Lifting Hooks or Straps?

I've gone about as far as I can go (I think) without some help on the pulling routines. So now, I'm trying to decide which way to go.....

    .....hooks or straps?

    Really not worried about cost.

If you feel strongly one way or the other, let me know why you feel that way.

    Thanks Mates

I like straps for deadlifts and hooks for side laterals, really depends on the exercise. Hooks IMO are worthless for deadlifts because they keep slipping off the bar

Neither , if you cant lift it without assistance its to heavy.
But if I had to choose I'd use the straps

Straps for pull days when your forearms get fatigued.

yes. intend for pulling, like seated rows, pull downs, that sort of thing.

Hooks take 1 second. Straps take 10 seconds or more. I see peeps fvckin with them for a half a minute and still have to stop to rewind it.

I have both. Hooks are by far the better choice for me.

I say straps, but just to see what floats your boat, try both of them. i still think you'll go with straps however.
They dont take nearly that long to set them up if you know what you are doing and have a little dexterity with them. Plus, the grip you'll get is fenomenal in comparison with hooks.
Just my 2 cents. Try them both, see what fits you.

Straps all the way and I couldn't do what I do without them to be honest, only ever used hooks once and didn't like them I ended up bolting them together and using them for restraints for this dirty lady I was seeing so IMHO straps!

Just used mine today for the first time in a long time. Gotta say they give me an extra 10%. And as I have arms like Popeyes anyway, they may even start to resolve that issue!

hooks. But I only use them for shrugs. Way faster than dicking with the straps

I'm thinking straps are old school and hooks...not old school.

I have both but prefer the straps. Something feels weird about the bulky hooks in my hand when I'm lifting.
