What is in your Protein Shake?

I'd like to know what people are adding to their protein shakes recently other than protein powder of course..

I started adding an organic apple and cinnamon, cranberries (sometimes mixed berries). With fermented brown rice protein powder and goat whey protein powder..

    Anyone else?

IMO it tastes fcking awesome. Took me a while to 'develop'. I use chocolate whey and casein as well as chocolate almond milk, so it basically tastes like a chocolate PB mocha shake.

Post Wo- 2 scoops of ON gold standard whey(choc), 1 scoop ONs glycomaize, 2 tsp creatine with a bananna

Bedtime- 1 scoop ONs Casein (choc pb), 8oz skim milk, 8oz water

Sometimes (once every week or 2) I do the bed time with a scoop of whey if I miss a meal or running late to eat. I dont own a microwave so meals take 30 mins to heat up in toaster oven.

    Used to do:

    2 scoop whey (chocolate)
1 cup ground steel cut oats
    1 cup egg whites
1/2 cup non fat yogurt blue or strawberry
    8oz whole milk
    2 tbs nat pbutter

It was thick and macros were supper high but taste good to me and was the inly way to get those steel cut oats down without choking or puking. That was my meal 1. Now i just whey and oats casein at night. I dnt look to much into putting much in my shakes or taking in to many shakes a day anymore due to the gurus on here reminding me better nutrients through food

Yeah same here man. Only reason I drink protein shakes at all is bc I absolutely hate oats and it's the only way I can actually stomach it. Otherwise I'd never drink them

Is everyone grinding their oats up before putting them in the shake or leaving them whole. I made one last night with 8oz of water, 1 1/2 scoops of BioX chocolate whey and half cups of somewhat ground oats. Only made it because I always wake up around 3 hungry as hell but I slept through the night last night. Looked at it this morning and dumped it. Looked so gross.

Well I have a very powerful blender called Vitamix..You can put anything in it (broccoli, spinach, pineapple, apple ext.) it'll juice them for you.. So the oats become like a powder in there. Yes I think they are putting the oats in the blender, you don't need to grind it first..Any blender will do the job.

This is a good shake.. I stopped adding fat content to the shake (avocado for example)..I started separating carbs and fats for meals..But I guess I will start adding some EVOO in there and see how it tastes like..
