Drug Test tomorrow

I posted this in another forum but will post it here as well so sorry for double posting, I just need to quick re-assurance. Ok I just took a Concerta today and I have a piss test tomorrow for an internship at a hospital. I am not prescribed to Concerta but am prescribed to Adderol. I was out of Adderol so I borrowed my buds Concerta. Not sure how closely related they are so im hoping that by saying that I'm prescribed to Adderal it would cover the Concerta in case it comes up during the screening. Any knowledge someone can bestow upon me feel free. I am taking test prop, Anavar, and Ldex right now as well. Will I be good?

In most cases for pre-employment a 5 or 7 panel test is done! 5 panel test for THC, Amphetamines, Methamphetamine, Cocaine and Barbituates

Adderol is an amphetamine is it not? I am uncertain as to what Concerta is classified as.

i would think a hospital would test more detailed since you are around drugs

adderol is like meth and ritalin is like coke. Serious. It is structurally similar to cocaine and has similar although less pronounced, shorter duration effects. I do not know if it ill show on a drug test.

+1 My old neighbor in NE was doing the exact same thing (internship at NE Medical Center) as a med student and the panel they ran was quite intrusive. There was a lot on it especially with opiates and other compounds that are found in script meds. You're walking around drug cabinets all day so....

OP..these guys are more than likely right about further screening for hospital jobs and yes Concerta is an amphetamine!

I meant to say that I took a Vyvanse. I said Concerta but it was a Vyvanse. Vyvanse is very closely related to Adderol so i hope I'm covered. It is an IT/IS job in a hospital not actually being a nurse or doctor or doing a medically related job.

Probaly same testing for all employees!

When in doubt... deny deny deny deny. They are going to take you what prescriptions you take. Tell them both if you think you'll get busted. They won't ask to see your prescriptions. Its not like you are taking an opiate.....

I don't want to get caught lying though. I'll just say adderal I'm prescribed. If I get popped for amphetamines because I took a Vyvanse I feel like my prescription to Adderal would cover it. I don't think they can tell exactly what drug I took with a piss test. Adderal and Vyvanse are both amphetamines so hopefully I'm good.

If that was the case then I'll hopefully get an extra day to cleanse system of Vyvanse considering I will not be bringing the bottles with me. It wasn't instructed to do so.

If you test positive for anything, they certainly won't just take your word for it, as far as, whether or not you have a legitimate prescription, know what I mean?

adderall is an amphetaine, concerta is an amphetamine and vyvanse is an amphetamine. pre-employment drug tests do not specifically test for certain prescriptions you are/may be taking. an amphetamine is an amphetamine. You will test positive for an amphetamine on your test. as long as you have a script for adderall you will be good. no worries.

Yep I tested positive for amphetamines and they asked if I was on any medications, I told them adderal, and then they said ok you need to bring in the bottle, I did and they took copies of it and haven't had any problems or complications as of today. Thanks guys. Spot on.

OP: sounds like you're good to go. Just as others have said they test for certain compounds not exact formulas which are specific to the individual drugs , as long as you have a script for said compound I am willing to bet you can take any drug under the rainbow that is in that class without getting in trouble provided it doesn't take your levels sky high or contain extra crap that will get you popped

In Nevada anyway.
They wanna see copies of the scripts. Clear copies.
My friend went for a job and they ALSO wanted the actual bottle of medicine [it was percocet]. When he showed them the bottle--get this---they went to some database they have--checked the pill manufacturer too see what the pills are supposed to look like--then OPENED THE BOTTLE AND COUNTED HOW MANY PILLS HE HAD LEFT.

Of course he was taking more than what his doc wrote in the instructions. The lady reviewing his meds did the math and saw he was "missing" 6 pills.
He couldn't explain it.
Never got the job.

This was a job that involved handling a great deal of cash. Maybe that's why their tough.
