I just watched this weeks episode. I was really excited for this show to come back on but I think things have kinda sucked. Rick's story line (legitimate) is pretty annoying. I hate Merle. Has to be the worst character ever created. I feel like the prison is the barn now. Setting is very stale.
Maybe I am knit picking. Curious as to others opinions

Seson 1 was great, the rush to eliminate the characters that had to go with the dropping or one of the directors made season 2 complete crap, the first half of season 3 was awesome, but the 2 episodes of this half are pretty weak, no doubt

I just got caught up on this show over the last couple weeks when they were running the back to back marathons.
Looking forward to the rest of the season.

I feel like season 1 was so good bc they were on the move. It kept the suspense. There were multiple solid story lines. Things were not predictable.
I feel like they should start to introduce what is going on outside of their group. Start running two different storylines

yah, the more they stick to just the main group, the more dumb ideas they have to come up with to keep putting themselves in danger... everything that was "suspenseful" or exciting was caused by stupidity on one of the groups behalves

We just got season 1, disc 1 from Netflix. People are constantly RAVING about this show and I had to see what the hoopla was all about. Only 2 episodes in so far, but I like it. Hoping for a great series.
As I said in a different thread - I always seem to be late to the best shows.

If they want to save the series they need to glaze over Rick's crazy angle fast just my 2 cents. It was boring and dumb in the comics and its going to be boring and dumb in the show if they drag it out all season.
I hate people who say the book was better during movies. I can't stand them. F yourself. Jurassic Park the book was not better. The movie was incredible for the time period it came out in so its just not possible. No one is talking about the book people still talk about that movie.

Ok now with that said I have to be one of those people. Really. Really they couldn't spring for the tank to be used in the last episode that we saw in downtown Atlanta like in the book? I mean come on they can't be on a shoe string budget this is one of the most talked about shows out right now top 5 material.

This TV show is awesome. Season 1 was great, I agree with Rwy that it was cool because they were on the move, season 2 was just horrible. Season 3 has been good so far, and I think the next episode is going to be good.
If anyone has not read The Walking Dead comic books, read them. I am by no means a comic book buff but I have read/downloaded all 100+ comics that this show is based off of. It rocks.

Tbh i think they are running out of ideas, and they are just giving verbal crap in the prison yard until they can come up with a new idea where they could place a new setting/sorroudings.
This tv show had me hooked when i first started watching it, still early days for the return of the season give it time it will fire up again, if not u can forget about me watching it anymore.
