Does testicular atrophy happen to everyone who injects exogenous testosterone for a long period?
Or is it just a certain percentage of people who gets this?
Lets say 10 weeks or longer of a cycle????

You may or may not notice atrophy but your testies will be shut down if you do not use hcg.Originally Posted by johnnymctrance
Thanks man, i have not noticed any atrophy and im 6 weeks into a test e 500mg/wk cycle i was just curious to see if it was a certainty that it would happen!!
I would suggest running hcg. It will make pct way easier if you run it on cycleOriginally Posted by johnnymctrance
For my next cycle i plan too, i was told test 500mg/week doesnt nescessarily need hcg, but i do understand the importance of using it!!
Any exogenous testosterone will suppress HPTA and hence LH release is halted. HCG is am LH analog and will keep the testes functioning properly.
Long of the short of it...you need it to keep the boys alive.
Glad to see that you recognize the importance of it as hcg should be the staple of any cycleOriginally Posted by johnnymctrance
Jhonny - I wrote this sticky for the guys in the HRT forum and while HCG is similar for its use in HRT as AAS you might want to read this:
