Well, considering you're working out hard on cycle... Cortisone could make you "feel" the pain is gone. This could easily lead to injury.
If my memory serves me right, it will probably slightly hinder your progress. While spot injected, free levels will increase in your body. It's a steroid, but once administered, I believe it does the opposite of what anabolic steroids do.
But if you're concerned about getting sick, nervousness, etc... you shouldn't have anything to worry about. I did this a few years ago AND I injured myself. Just be careful, don't assume because the pain is gone, the problem is gone.
Surely more will chime in and correct me if I'm wrong![]()
Well, what are you getting them for? How many?
All true.
Cortisone injections serve catabolism, quite the opposite of what anabolic steroids do.
Pain will be gone, which also means your body will not be alarming you for the potential injuries that can happen, thus injuries become much more likely to happen without the presence of pain.
Whether Cortison injections will become counterproductive regarding a AAS cycle will solely depend on how many injections we're looking at here and at what dosage.
instead of masking the pain with cortisone, you should try to heal the problem.
consider TB500. i have a fairly detailed thread on it if you are interestted.
The question is: what are you using them for?
Everyone will typically jump to the knee-jerk reaction of "Cortisone is catabolic, it will destroy muscle tissue, don't use it!!!". Well, that's actually wrong if you're on AAS. AAS will preserve muscle tissue in light of elevated Cortisol levels (provided the ratio of Cortisol:Androgens is not excessively out of proportion in favor of Cortisol.
It can be done, many have done it without sacrificing gains. But if you don't have a valid reason to do so, or if you don't know what you're doing, then don't do it.
