How do you plan on doing this exactly? What are your stats and goals for this? I don't really understand...

    2 on 2 off doesn't makes sense....

However you may be better off gauging the bulking and cutting phases by body fat rather than a time frame.....

You could however bulk until you hit 13% and then cut back down to 9 or 10% then slowly bulk again until you hit 13% and repeat...

There is an advantage to being leaner when it comes to growing and by using this method you can bounce between the two phases and take advantage of the hormonal and metabolic advantages also....

    Guys My state

    Age: 31
    Height: 182
    Weight: 183
    BF: 16%

I want to get a little bigger then what I am at the moment but not huge. Also I want a definition.

    Means I want
MASS and MUSCLES at the same time.

I just do not want wanna put body fat on me in terms of getting big or bulking but yes I want to get bigger then what I am at the moment but the same time I want muscle definition not just tons of mass.

I know it's a stupid question but is it possible?

    P.S
My body can put on fat easy like most people may be but when it comes to build muscles, there are no muscles.

Diet is bit cheeky at the moment but not that bad, got 6 meals planned but confused what should I do. Should I start bulking and put on more weight as I guess I am already a bit over weight with no muscles. Or should I just getting ripped.

I would focus on one at a time. It sounds like you want definition over mass, and 16% is too high for any good definition. I would just cut down at least a little first, take a few weeks to cut down and then see where you are at in terms of aesthetically what you want. You'd be amazed at what a cut can do, really bringing out your definition can make you even appear bigger than when you started.

Your in that phase i used to be in.. your to high bf% to bulk but you feel to small to cut. ( SUX)

I would suck it up and cut at least 4-5% more before trying to add mass( its near impossible to add muscle without fat)

After this you could try to add lean mass in a sense.

and 2 weeks isnt enough to judge what type of mass you are adding or loosing.

It's not good to be in my phase but it's good to know they someone understands you,

Ok so I am going to cut,

One more question before I start my cutting period, can I be on bulk diet and cut exercises? Means, eat to bulk and exercise to cut,

I personally don't switch my routine either bulking or cutting. Lift heavy and consistently all the time, if you want to shed more weight, do more cardio... don't start introducing massive amount of reps into your routine. Like when people say " Oh, I'm toning my biceps by doing 20 reps" Complete horse shit

No, bulking and cutting is only relative to the diet you are on, not really the lifts you do or the compounds you take. So if you are on a bulker diet, you are bulking.

again you are trying to get muscle and loose fat by sneakily changing things but your body knows whats going on.

you feed it too much and it will grow, you feed it less and you will cut.

head to the nutrition section and learn how to cut and read a few of the stickys on how to adjust your macros and figure out your maintenance cals.

    heres what happens,

let say your maintenance calories are 2300, ( meaning you hold weight at this many calories , youll see what im mean when you read the sticky)

so lets say you want to eat like your bulking, so you bump your cals up to 2800 so your bulking, right?

but now you added in more activity like more cardio,

so this means now your using more calories during the day.

so your 2800 your taking in but now your more active and using another extra 500 a day on cardio, well guess what, your right back to 2300, which means your going to stay the same identical weight,

if you did this for years you may see a lean body re composition but dont expect to see any real changes in a cycle.

I remember Muscle Media had some routine like this callled the ABCDE or something like that diet and routine. For two weeks you would eat a surplus of cals and then for two weeks eat a calorie deficit.
