thats why i dont own expensive sunglasses. i always break them. howd they break? all oakleys come with a lifetime guarantee; but you may have trouble cashing in on this if you actually broke them.. Im not positive but i think the guarantee only covers scratches etc.

Thats why i am a Foakly kinda of guy! My last trip to mex i picked up some fake ray bans-and theyre actually pretty nice($10 too).

They broke right in the center of the frame. I had them around my neck, and when i reached to get them they just fucking snapped. I checked my warranty and it only covers scratches.

Oakley's warranty does not cover any lens scratches, only lens or frame breaks. I had my proM frames replaced long after the warranty expired.. Oakley is a pretty cool comapny, give them a ring and tell em what happened. They probably hook you up with something.

You've got it backwards. Here's the Oakley Eyewear Warranty Policy:

All Oakley eyewear is warranted for one year from the date of purchase against manufacturer defects. Coverage is valid only with proof of purchase from an Authorized Oakley Dealer. Oakley warranty program does not cover scratched lens. Alteration of Oakley products will void warranty. Additional services are available for a nominal charge.

I ran over a pair of oakley's with my truck awhile back... and they replaced them for 40 bucks not bad for $300 sunglasses, I wasn't complaining.

Oakley is all about customer service. Even though you're past the 1 year warranty period, contact them and give them a sob story.

Well I just spent the last 45mins in the dumpster finding my oakleys. I got pissed at work and I just threw them in the trash and time I got back the kid already took the trash to the dumpster. So I smell like shit, and Im going to try to get ahold of Oakley. Thanks bros.
