Back for more advice from my fellow gurus

Kay, so we know I've made tons of progress since August. Due to tons of great insight and support. Now I don't really know how to ask this, but I guess what I'm trying to figure out is this. I feel like I'm having a hard time obtaining a more slender core. I've lost a lot of fat, and have pretty good muscular gains but I feel like I'm still "thick" in the core. I don't use any weights when working on abs. Crunches and crazy Ivan's on incline bench, abs sling with various things like side lift, etc. am I doing something I shouldn't be etc or is it possible some of this is actually coming down to my genetics?
    Help

I hate to say it, but in this case i think this would just be all genetics. I have a similar problem as a guy, where when i cut the last place to really cut down is the worst place to hold fat, my moobs. I've dipped under 10% twice in my life and both times my moobs only started getting defined after EVERYTHING else, i even had decent ab definition with some squishy titties.

Sometimes genetics just screws you, but in this case at least I'd say just keep cutting and eventually you'll have to start burning through belly fat.

When you look at/feel your waist, does it feel tight, or is there still visible fat?

Some people just have thicker cores - I'm one of them. I've been sub 10% bodyfat and was still wearing a size 33 jeans. I know other guys who are bigger than me (muscular wise), just as lean and in size 29.

The only way you'll know for sure is to continue working towards losing bodyfat. That can be one of the most stubborn areas for a lot of people.

I've got a thick core but its because I'm fatter than all holy-hell right now.

However, I am genetically predisposed to muscle through my waist and I had to follow very low carb cycles to completely draw my waist in when I was competing in bodybuilding. But, that sucked because a) I couldn't follow that kind of diet for long without losing a ton a muscle mass and b) I would come in real flat if I didn't do it just right.

No, my bodyfat has decreased a lot. It feels pretty firm with the exception of some fat but not to where I'm believing its alot. I still do work on losing fat, cardio twice a day. Fasted in the a.m and another session pre workout later in the day. Maybe it is a lot of fat. (Shrug) maybe my structure only allows a certain definition. But I'm not too upset. Just have to try to go at it hard anyway lol

Exactly. You've got nothing to lose (no pun lol) by continuing. Sounds like you have a good plan going too, good job!!

Try doing your 2nd cardio session Post workout vs pre. This allows for more energy for the workout and gives you glucose depleated cardio...much more effective in fat burning IMO

Good point, I'd opt for PWO cardio as well, if for no other reason, to reserve energy for a more intense weight training session. PWO, I'd also incorporate HIIT.

GGR, wish we lived in a world of spot reduction lol. But then again, the rewards wouldn't be as glorifying with quick results.
