Hey guys.

I'm heading over to Thailand for 3 months in mid-April. I'm staying in Pattaya and would like to do a cycle while I'm over there. Any information on the best gyms and / or places I can hopefully avoid fakes when I pick up my supplements, would be great.

If anyone on these boards is currently in Pattaya and wouldn't mind showing a newbie from Australia around, it would definitely my shout at the bar in appreciation

hahaha naa, need to be nice to the newbies who are visiting Thailand for the 1st time. There is a good chance they will be confused enough on who is who or what without anyone pointing them in the wrong direction.

We have a few members on here who are currently living in Thailand and a few ex pats who I'm sure can help more than me. A lot of my information is a little dated since it's been 3 years since my last visit. I'm trying to convince the Mrs. to let me go to a FRIENDS wedding coming up soon but I think my chanses are about the same as talking her into the 2 twin Asian girls I want to adopt. Why does it matter they are almost 16?? lol

I regress. Best thing is while there join one of the local gyms. FYI do not do a long term contract. Pay week to week, not a month up front and 100% get a receipt. You can be like most people and just walk into any pharmacy and ask what they have or know in advance what you are looking for. Like everywhere there are a lot of fakes so be sure to know what you are looking for. It's best if you can hook up with someone local who obviously knows what they are doing.

Enjoy your time in Pattaya. Dont drink to much, dont do anything stupid, NEVER get into a fight with a Thai because you will fight the who village (every Thai in sight will join in) and it does not matter if you are in the right or wrong. Don't flash money or jewelery, especially jewelery. There have been a big increase of robberies in broad daylight and a lot of small groups who ride scooters and drive by and snatch what you have in your hand or around your neck.

There are usually a lot of Ausies who are around town or sitting in the pubs so you should have no problem meeting some locals. As said watch out for the lady boys (unless that's what you are looking for) because sometimes its very hard to tell the difference. Most of the time it's obvious but not always. Another good reason not to get drunk. lol

Remember in Thailand you never pay for sex. You pay for the taxi ride home in the morning. I had to pay for 2 taxi fares last time.

I wouldnt even attempt to buy AAS in pattaya, most likely it is fake. 99% of the pharmacies in Pattaya are run by the government unline BKK. SO getting real AAS will be a challenge.
I recommend you going to BKK first to get your AAS then going to Pattaya. Use Bell Travel Service from BKK, they are the best for getting to Pattaya.

LOL, I was going to say the same but you know how it is, you cant explain it to someone who has never been there. I'm sure he will have a list of things he plans on doing and when he is going to do it. I had people try to tell me to throw the list away. I had my whole trip planned before I left. I planned it for about a year. 15 minutes after getting to Pattaya I threw all my notes and plan literally into the trash.

Thanks for all the replies. I was reading another thread that made me think that BKK was my best bet for supplements. I have some friends also visiting Thailand throughout the period, and they were already staying in Pattaya. It is more of a holiday, I just thought I could use the opportunity to train as well. Might be a pipe dream considering the distractions, but I'll see how it goes.

Great advice mate. Cheers. Thankfully I'm not a big jewellery wearer The fakes are what is concerning me the most I think. BKK sounds like the go. A pharmacy near Nana Hotel was mentioned somewhere. I'll give that a look before I make the trip to Pattaya.

Good idea spending some time in BKK first because once you you get to Pattaya you wont want to leave.
Make sure you report back when you return and see if you are another one of us who is a Thailand addict and you are suffering from withdrawals already. I literally booked my 2nd trip the same day I got home. lol

Yeah man...I always worry that when I go there I'll just throw my life away and never come back hahaha. As far as training goes...ehhh, it's gonna be pretty hard but you can probably hit your macros real cheap with all the street vendor food. It's going to be damn near impossible not to go out and party all the time though.

You can get 3 girls like that for about $200 total if you're even remotely attractive. If you look like a pumpkin that got hit by a train then you'd probably have to pay about $300. At least in Pattaya or Phuket, Bangkok is a little more expensive.

Changed new bags with each one every time. Thats why before the trip I go to costco to get condoms. You don't want to run short and the thai ones really are small and tear easily.

I admit I never haggle...but I wouldn't call 2000 THB for LT per chick (newbie prices). Keep in mind the prices have risen over the last 3-5 years.

Standard prices at gogo bars are 2000ST/4000LT in bkk + 500 bar fine.

I would generally walk around with 600usd in baht in my wallet with an additional 600 in one of my front pockets (more if I had something big planned). At 6'3 200 pounds I never got messed with (minus a gang of kids running up and hugging me trying to pickpocket me). I imagine my stats are pretty weak compared to most on this forum so chances are you'd be fine.

Yes and the prices do keep going up. Even in Pattaya I am more custom to (a couple of years ago) 1000st/2500LT

Nope you are G2G in the Philippines. They have a lot more places to visit and P4P than Thailand and a few places ALMOST as lively as Pattaya. You will find clubs everywhere that look like some type of up scale night club. The reason I have not been to Thailand for a few years is because I have mostly been in Philippines.
