Just did shoulders today, 80lbx11..was happy.
I don't plan to go much higher than 80, just increase reps..I got bad shoulders from hockey and tore my rotator cuff years ago
80's for 10.![]()
I hope to improve that this year.
At my strongest I was doing the 44kg (97lb) for 6-8 reps. I now tend to stay around the 40kg
90s for sets of 5-6 reps
I remember when I was young, and doing probably 40's, and I was about half way up and my arm just rotated backwards literally with the dumbbell still in my hand..My shoulder still grinds and clicks cause of that injury. Blah!
Did shoulders today 80 x 10, than 90 x 10, than 110 x 10. Has surgeries on both shoulders. My right one still hurts, time for the deca in low doses
I had this happen with the 97lb dumbells, took 3 weeks off and I haven't tried them again.Originally Posted by cj111

50-60's... shoulders already get enough work from other things so I don't push it.
110 lbs 55 each hand
80lbs dumbbells each hand 8x & i do it last in my workout after three exercises.
7.5kg for ten reps next week going for 10kg will try and get 6 reps wish me luck

I'll spot you bro, wouldn't want you to have an injuryOriginally Posted by scorpion62
the last time I was in the gym before my accident I was running 75's x15 then 80's x12 then two sets at 90's x 8... since then I've been walking on my hands (crutches), and had a PICC line in for the most part, so I haven't done shoulders since.
I use a lot, I get eye ball shake when I shoulder press lol
I've never gone higher than 80's but can't remember my reps... nothing impressive, I can tell you that much. Shoulders are without a doubt my weakest muscle group.![]()
