Thread: should my friend visit a doc?

should my friend visit a doc?

He injected a blend on Sunday which was 250mg test e and 150 tren e. It was his first shot of the cycle. He is 30 years old.

The area is red, hott, sore. He ran a fever last night and having hot flashes today. I know he can't be feeling the tren side effects yet since he just started and it's long ester but could this be from the shot being too potent? 400mg total in one shot.

He has a friend who is a doc who can get him anti biotic script. But should he do that or go ahead and visit a doctor to get it checked out and possibly cut open?

I doubt it will be that extreme at this point, likely get some antibiotics. Go now!

He went. Its not infected they say... They said it was irritation. His body saying hey this isn't supposed to be in here. Whatever that means. Gave him a shot

It's true, what they say is true. Your body doesn't naturally have oil shot into the muscle region. It's just like a flu shot or a penicillin shot in the ass. It hurts bro. It doens't mean its infected.

IMO, if you are asking the question the answer is yes. In a better world medical care wouldn't bankrupt people and force them to make a decision between health and financial health. I make damn good money and still have second thoughts at times when situations arise.

But back to subject... if you think something is amiss have it checked out. An abscess could result in amputations in extreme cases.

If it wasn't infected, why would they give him a shot? Typically with infections they'd give you a high dose injection of an antibiotic.

Maybe it was a kenalog (glucocorticosteroid) shot given to reduce inflammation. Not something I would do if this was my patient, but just a possibility.

I've had two similar shots in my shoulder in the past month for a car wreck. They aren't something if typically want but damn do they work. Went from limited range and pain to full range and discomfort over night. Just did a smaller dose to see if we can get through to the other side.

The use of kenalog for joint paint is extremely common practice. There's mixed results however when kenalog is used for joint pain. Sometimes it's a homerun and sometimes does nothing. And unfortunately when it does work, the improvement doesn't even last 6 months..

Happy to hear it worked for you. Hope it works for your other shoulder as well.
