    Knots in traps

Hi all, I'm new to the forum and just have been having problems with my traps and muscle knots. I stretch and drink tons of water anyone have any tips on other stretches to help. Or any info would be appreciated.

I've had them for years. Hold a lot of tension there. Get a pro massage or get your gf to do it. Rough. Lol

Its like ecstasy when my wife rubs out my traps lol, it sounds hippy but I believe people hold stress in certain bodyparts. Traps are mine because when ever i'm stressed they tend to get more knotted and tight.

I found that using a moderate weight for shrugs and really stretching the bottom position has gotten rid if the knots in my traps. I no longer load up the bar when doing shrugs.
