    Please critique diet....

    Looking to lean out and shred.. On a cycle of prop/var right now 1 week in. Here is my diet.



    7.30am: 8 Egg whites or 368g liquid egg whites
    ½ cup Oatmeal/ Cream of wheat
    (cinnamon & splenda))

    9.30am: 2 Scoops Optimum 100% Whey (8-12oz water/ice)


    11.00am: 7oz Chicken breast/Grilled
    1 cup brown rice steams/boiled
    1 ½ cups green beans


    2.00pm: 8oz turkey w/diced onions + mushrooms)
    6.5oz white rice, boiled/steamed

    3:30 preworkout

    4-6 gym


    6.00pm 2 Scoops Optimum 100% Whey
    (8-12oz water/ice)
    4oz pineapple

    7:30pm 7oz tilapia, baked
    2 cups Green broccoli/spinach

    9:00pm 2 scoops Optimum Casein Protein Powder + water & ice



    TOTALS: 314G PROTEIN/ 171G COMPLEX, CHO'S GRAM TOTAL 225G/ 23.74G FATS/ TOTAL CALORIES 2241.60

    You're taking 6 scoops of whey a day, that's pretty excissive...I did that before when I was younger. You will have greater results if you consume some actual protein instead of all that powder. You could probably lower your daily protein also so that would in turn drop your calories a bit.

    I could eliminate the shake in the am and add a small meal of chicken or something. Suggestions welcome!!

    2 shakes a day, replace with chicken or something else, tuna , whatever you want man, just eat some real food.
    Or take 6 shakes a day, lol it all depends on what you wanna do, theres no right or wrong answer
    You're diet is nice and clean though, you'll have good results, I'd eat quinoa over rice but hey that's just me. Don't forget to drink lots of water, 4-5 litres a day

    First glance I would cut back a bit on protein & carbs and increase fat a bit. Fats are a bit low.

    Practically you can replace one of the shakes, with a nice portion of nuts.

    All together it looks nice and clean though...

    Just to add on previous reply: Adding some cottage cheese or olive oil will also increase your fat intake a bit.
