Well, 7.5 months ago I was in a horrific motorcycle crash. I was Tboned and my right leg was partially severed. Multiple compound tibia/fibia fracture with a degloving of the right foot. Since that time I've had multiple surgeries to repair the damage, the last being a reconstructive surgery for the soft tissue of my foot which died after it was sewn back on. I've been completely chair bound until recently, and for the most part I had a PICC line in, so haven't been able to do any lifting at all. 3 weeks ago I was ordered to start walking, and I've been doing rehab to regain strength and flexibility. I have graduated to a cane now, and now I'll be hitting the gym to get back into a normal routine. I put on a ton of weight, mainly from a reaction/side effect of one of the nerve blockers they put me on. I'm starting fresh, my weight is 320, and I'm wicked low on testosterone (but that's another thread all together). Wednesday I will be heading back to my old gym and really hitting it hard. My goal is to get back to the 250lb range, which will only help my now permanently crippled leg. Just dropping in to say hi, and introduce myself... I'll be posting my workout and progress as I go along.
