    Eca

Hey guys, a good friend of mine is wanting to cut. He is only 20 and is already a beast naturally. I have talked him out of aas use due to his age (wasn't easy!!!) and am going to help him with an ECA stack. I am not really educated with ECA except for what it consists of. Can someone help me with dose and timelines? Thanks!

Very true, use the search button. Since I often write on the topic here are a few of my informative threads:

    ---------------------------------

I'm currently writing steroid and ancillary profiles for one of sister sites, and although I need to proof it and beef it up, here is my rough Ephedra profile that's both informational and instructional:

    EPHEDRINE

    Half Life: Approximately 6-8 hours
    Effective Dose: 25-100 mg/day
Active Ingredients: Ephedrine hydrocholoride or ephedrine sulfate
    Chemical Formula: C10 H15 N O1
    Molecular Weight: 165.2322
    Chemical Names: (1R,2S)-2-methylamino-1-phenylpropan-1-ol

    EPHEDRINE INTRODUCTION

Ephedrine, more commonly known as Ephedra, is a beta-agonist in the sympathomimetics group of medications that’s generally found in over-the-counter (OTC) decongestants, and formerly as a premiere fat-burning and weight loss agent. Ephedrine is very similar to Clenbuterol an Albuterol, two beta-agonists prescribed for bronchial dilation in the treatment of breathing disorders, both of which also possess fat-burning properties.

    EPHEDRINE PROPERTIES/EFFECTS

In its rawest form Ephedrine is a Chinese herb known as Ma Huang, which has been employed for centuries as a breathing aid, mental stimulant for enhanced alertness, and Chinese herbal and slimming tea delivered natural fat burner and appetite suppressant.

The implications for Ephedrine’s use by athletes and bodybuilders are immense. This central nervous system stimulant is generally administered within the ECA Stack (which includes caffeine and aspirin), prior to training in order to heighten energy levels for more intense and better sustained workouts.

As a fat-burner, Ephedrine influences both lipolytic and thermogenic metabolic activity, slightly raising both body temperature and heart rate. These actions prompt a homeostatic response that burns calories as it seeks to return the body to baseline. Ephedrine’s benefits are most pronounced when taken in conjunction with a high protein, low fat, calorie restrictive diet, and an effective exercise regimen.

    EPHEDRINE ADMINISTRATION

Although many users take Ephedrine (as well as Clenbuterol and Albuterol) in a two days on two off, or two weeks on two off fashion, this protocol is not optimal. As clearly cited in the manufacturer pharmacologies of the other two products, beta-agonists are best taken continuously for maximum results. Since beta-agonistic effects are cumulative, working synergistically with the body’s own metabolism, their administration is maximized when taken for continuous stints. Ephedrine use is optimally recommended for durations of 6-12 weeks, or in concert with a traditional steroid cutting cycles. This compound should be taken in dosages of 25-30 mg/serving for a not-to-be exceeded maximum of 100 mg within a 24-hour period. Preferred dosing occurs early in the morning again, mid-day, and then at about three o'clock pm. Ephedrine should not be taken after 3pm if a typical bedtime of 10-11pm is expected, as its mental stimulating effects can cause insomnia.

Each body is different and it’s wise to monitor one’s response to Ephedrine, i.e. how long it takes for its effects to kick-in and diminish. The initial burst of energy and alertness begins approximately 15 minutes after ingestion, and there are a couple of caveats to its usage cited above and below which should be observed. Novice Ephedrine users should start with a half serving for the first day or two, to become acclimated to this compound, and to assess the tolerance for side effects. Note the single serving dosage on the label, and reduce it by one half, e.g. if its two tablets or capsules take one, and if it’s one break or bite the tablet in half, or reduce the amount of powder in the capsule by half.

    EPHEDRINE SIDE EFFECTS

The side effects of Ephedrine are much milder than those exploded by the U.S. media, during the much applauded ban of what was erroneously considered a menace to society. Typically such side effects are directly correlated it the respective beneficial effect and amount to: mild to moderate perspiration, slightly elevated heart rate, and slightly increased temperature as expressed above to trigger homeostasis and raise metabolism; mild shakiness or jitteriness due to the caffeine-like central nervous system boost and accompanying caffeine within the stack.

Any symptoms beyond those cited above, or to a greater degree, are actually signaling a hypersensitivity to Ephedrine, and the need to either reduce the serving (as recommended for the novice above), or to discontinue use. Such symptoms include dizziness, vertigo, or the feeling that one is unable to catch their breath.

Along with the aforementioned 100 mg per day maximum, Ephedrine should not be taken by individuals with pre-existing heart conditions, including but not limited to hypertension, cardiac irregularities, poor circulation, etc.

    EPHEDRINE AVAILABILITY

Most often found in tablet and capsule form, Ephedrine is typically dosed at 25-30 mg/serving, but there are super doses of 50 mg servings which should obviously be reduced by half for safe administration. Ephedrine is not known to be counterfeited. There are a variety of legal over-the-counter (OTC) Ephedra-free products which use other stimulants to mimic its effects, and work to lesser degrees.

The original stack is still the very best formula, and is comprised of 25-30 mg of Ephedrine (E), 200 mg of Caffeine (C), and 100 mg of Aspirin (A). The ECA stack is however, often combined with other both beneficial and not so beneficial ingredients. Most additional vitamin, herb, and mineral ingredients are merely additive, but be leery of any obscure or hard to pronounce ingredients many of which are Ephedrine mimickers (used in Ephedrine-free products) which can unnecessarily increase its stimulant properties such as Synephrine Extract, L-Tyrosine, and Pseudoephedrine.

    BUYING EPHEDRINE ONLINE

Due largely to the misuse and abuse of a few, who no doubt failed to observe the above administration caveats, on April 12, 2004 the U.S. federal government banned Ephedra/Ephedrine as a weight and fat loss supplement. Many people are unaware that 'banned' does not mean illegal or illicit, but actually means that a product cannot be sold over-the-counter.

Consequently, Ephedra/Ephedrine is for sale and can safely and legally be purchased online as a weight and fat loss supplement. Many websites prominently feature both original formula Ephedra products as well as several new ones. Similar central nervous system compounds, including the stronger Clenbuterol can also be found at Steroids.com (via the site sponsor) along with a wide variety of anabolics.

    EPHEDRINE CRITIQUE/REVIEW

Ephedra is one of only a handful of supplements to hit the market in the last few decades that does exactly what it claims to do. This marvelous product will aid in fat-burning, but will also permit the user to train longer, harder, and ultimately better.
