Planned or not, you'll soon find out it's the greatest thing that could ever happen to you. You don't sound too happy tbh, but I hope you change your tune (assuming I'm correct) as we're DYING for another kid ASAP and I'd love to have been the one starting this thread...

Kids are amazing. Once you hold that thing you helped bring into this world all things change. I would do anything for my kids.

So true. Before I had a kid and would hear people 'brag' about how their kids can do this and that (i.e. 'ordinary' things), i'd be like 'so what'!?! Big deal!!!

You truly can't understand how amazing that stuff really is until you're a parent. And this isn't me being a hypocrite, it's self-growth.

Haha. My mom had kids when I was a teen so I was around babies a lot. Ill be fine. Just more in shock

Might be in a similar situation. Was on a heavy cycle but started hitting the hcg hard at the end forgetting what it does to your love juice. She's a week and a half late at the moment.

Good luck with your sutuation though, hope everything goes well.

True, but there's nothing in life more worth sacrificing for, IMO. You'll have a new priority in life.

    Sleep deprivation.

You'll be up often doing feeds. Take advantage of this and plans bulk, then you have a free alarm clock that'll remind you to eat during the night!

My son is almost 2, honestly the first 9 months fly past without too much happening. Once they start walking/talking they really get a personality!

This too, prepare for a very intolerant mrs! It'll be like someone has injected her with Bears weekly dose. Rage, tears, more rage. Everything is your fault.

Okay, I'm not a dad but I've had three and I'm very honest about how us women can be
We usually have a love/hate relationship with our pregnancies. I LOATH being pregnant. We are tired so we get cranky. We start losing ourselves and turn into marshmallows... Hate that too. If we get sick it's usually not just "morning". YOU did this to us. Tell her her pregnancy makes her more beautiful than ever.... We never believe that but it's nice to think you do. LISTEN and ACT like you want to hear about every detail of her ever changing body and what she heard or read. You will be the enemy if you don't at least pretend. Above all...... Never.... Ever ever ever ever ever ever vocalize any thought of how this may have been a mistake. As string as we can be.... Nothing matters more right now than you standing beside us, holding our swollen hands every step of the way
