    Late night Shake

Ok its a small easy qestion, but since i will be on a cutting diet/cycle, its more imperative then when not cutting. I have a problem like most peopple have when dieting, wking up in the middle of the night starving. But for me, i can eat fall asleep right away for 20 mins and still wake up hungry. Something bout sleep makes me starve. So i have been making a shake, or eating cottage cheese in the middle of the night. Which i know most of us do anyways.

But where would you add these calories into you marcos. For the night that you fell asleep or starting for the begining of the next day?

Time frame is usually anywhere between 130-400 am for this snack. Wake up is 7-30 am

Are you eating a whole tub of cottage cheese? I wouldn't worry about it personally, you're complicating things. Have a few bites and go back to bed

Lol yeah kinda figured i was. I used to do this on a bulk, but i really didt care about how much or adding the cals. I know it helped me get over my limits for the day. Was just curious since cutting it would make a diffference.

    Not a tub, usualy 3/4-1cup.

that's 1 serving, so 100 cal? I wouldn't worry about it personally. 100 cal isn't going to make or break your routine, and if you think about it to much you will just get stressed over nothing..
If you are getting up eating the whole tub and washing it down with a carton of milk, that might be a different story

100 cals? See this is my biggest problem. Conflicting macros. I'm using my fitness pal and this is the macros I get for 1.5 cups

Pardon me, 1 cup is 200 cal. Well for my 2% anyways. Just read the side of your container, and go with that.
Either way, if you already ran a cal deficit for the day, worked out, did cardio, and you want a little snack at night, I personally wouldn't think to much about it...I wouldn't make a habit out of it, but no point in being a food Nazi. Switch to 1% if youre that worried about it

Good luck man! Don't think of it as a diet, just think of it as a way you can eat for the rest of your life! Make good food choices, the rest will follow.

Thanks again. And it's been a way of life for awhile now. But went I met my fiancé, we splurged ourselves. So trying to buckle back down. And learning more as I go.

^^ this. No matter how meticulous you/we are with counting calories/macros, we're still always going to be off anyway. Get as close as you can and don't worry about it... let your results be the marker.

She does! She runs 35-45 6 days a week. And weight trains 2-3. We were eating great. Once got engaged we fell off the wagon. Like most women she loves her sweets, and I love to make her happy. But now it's time to straighten up lol.
