Does the same general rule apply to take a week off training after a couple months even if it's during a cutting phase, or do you risk losing to much muscle at a calorie deficit when not lifting?

I always take a week off after like 5 or 6 months of training. I feel likes its good for me
Any other opinions? 5-6months is a long time before taking a break no?
No need to run a caloric deficit if youre not training. Take a week off and eat maintenance, would do your body good.
