Beginning to thaw out my 20lb turkey for Easter!

Every year, around Thanksgiving, I'll buy 4 or 5 turkeys and store them in the freezer. I pulled out one yesterday, and put it in the ice chest to thaw slowly, to be slowly BBQ'd on the weber on Sunday. AND I still have two more turkeys left in the freezer!

    Anyone else BBQ'ing a turkey?

Alright! Dinner at TR's!! Unfortunatley I am not BBQing a turkey. I wish I was though. Since I moved away from my family I haven't really done any big holiday meals. I usually stick with chicken. Maybe ill switch it up this year..

In the past, I've done other poultry. Duck is tasty, but pound for pound, you don't get much meat. it's a muscle bird, and much of the muscle is in the wings (for flight). Capon is real good, bigger than a chicken. it's basically a rooster with it's nuts cut off when it was a chic, so it fattens up real good. Goose is a dark meat, very tasty, but greasy, as it has a thick later of fat below the skin. And it's a little tough. There's always game hens, which are basically a personal size "chicken".

It's not Friday yet over here. Have a steak!!! You got 9 mins.

I don't think you should go without meat anymore. They started that lent crap back in a time when people didn't eat meat very often. We don't live in those times anymore. If you need to give up something for lent, give up a raunchy genre of porn that you watch for a day.
