Ive heard a few people say they have taken test e on thier 1st cycle for 10 weeks. The "guide" i read says 12 weeks. How long did you guys do a test only cycle for before pct (those who done this kind of cycle)? I had decided on 12 weeks but is that maybe too much for a 1st cycle?

hey thanks, this was probably the 1st thread i looked at here, i understand it a lot better now, all the numbers and stuff had me confused for a time till i worked it out. it helped loads thanks, its in my faves bar for reference

I'm no expert but I just did pretty much my 1st cycle since my actual first was over 4 years ago. But I started with 250 mg first 2 weeks the 500 mg which took it to 12 weeks with hcg start on week 11 thu 13 then nolvadex for the next 4
great gains and I didn't seem to get shut down to bad

If you want to keep your testies functioning instead of shut down for the 12 weeks of your cycle I would say hcg should be a staple part if your cycle

Like Jim said, hCG prevents testicular atrophy. AND it promotes and assists in much smoother transition from on cycle to the recovery stage.(PCT)
