    Back pain!

Daaaaaaaaaamn it. I am a Tattooer so leaning over for hours daily really makes my back hurt and my posture suck. I try stretches and hyper extensions. I also have the back swing deal that flips you upside down. Just started in it though. What do you guys do to relieve the pain?

I know some ppl don't believe in them, but I have a bulging disc and I use chiropractor. Helps me tremendously, it's good to get adjusted occasionally. Funny thing, about 10 years ago I was having problems with my rotator cuffs in both shoulders and a few adjustments helped take the pain away.

Unfortunately my friend your driving down a long winding road.....1st thought would be to change your working position if possible or ave your clients lay or sit in a more manageable position to fit your physical needs. You can try works your abs out they do help support your back, and yes proper stretching and relaxation techniques if u have the patience.
Also try soaking in the bath tub warm water with epson salts for20 min a couple x a week, and have the gf/bf give u a through back massage 20min worth.

Agreed the right chiropractor is worth his weight in gold. I have to chiropractors I go to for general adjustments but only ever found 1 who located a red in my back it was out and was the only 1 who was able to put it in correctly.

I want to him the first time in just over a year this last week. Oh em gee I forgot how good it feels when it with is in place. It's the first time I am able to lay in my bed on my back with 0 discomfort. I wish I had found him my back and shoulders first started to tweak but by the time I found him it was too late and too much damage has been done.

    Good luck

Lovbyts. I think we need to make something clear, we're talking about a therapist who practices the treatment and health of the neuromusculoskeletal system .

4 girls from Thailand walking on your back is not the therapy mentioned here.

    Giggity.

I posted same thread about 3-4 weeks ago. Lovbyts told me to try chiropractor. For years I listened to my dad that they were the worst thing and finally I decided to give it a shot. In 8 sessions I no longer have any shoulder pain that I have been dealing with for a year. I got range of motion back in my neck and my lower back has improved but I am not a 100% there yet.

I also have stopped snoring. My gf started sleeping in the other room and started wearing ear plugs but the corrections I have been getting has eliminated my snoring

Haha nice. Dude it's a back killer. After about 10 years your feeling it for sure!

Thanks for the replys everyone. I might give a chiropractor another shot. I did go to one for my first time about 6 months ago. Kinda freaks me out getting adjusted. I've seen to many broken neck moves on tv haha. One thing no one mentioned and it's amazing for my lower back is hyper extensions. 3 sets of 10, 5 days a week. No extra weight or anything. I will also try the Epsom salt baths.
