    Is ECA catabolic?

Just finished up a 7 week cut using ECA, this was my first experience using ECA. Normally I lose strength and muscle size while cutting but this time I seemed to actually gain some. I just assumed ECA would cause catabolism but my personal finding don't support this. Anyone else have similar experiences?

    Mike.

I guess I just expect to lose lean mass while losing fat. And I've heard all the talk about T3 being hyper-catabolic.

I've ran eca numerous times, as long as your diet is in check, you are fine, at least I was. As far as it being catabolic itself, I haven't the slightest clue.

    I ran 24mg eph 200 mg caff 3x a day
80mg aspirin x1 with first dose.
May want to start with a lower dose and progress as the weeks go on

I was running 25/200/81, like stated above.

Anabolism and catabolism are very complex metabolic states, and the answer is rarely a simple "yes" or "no". No, ECA is not overtly catabolic like a large dose of T3. But that hardly means it will spare muscle like AAS while cutting.

Thanks, good to know. Just happy to find out it's not extremely catabolic. I'll definitely be using it in the future. No sides and tons of fat loss.

This is a great response! And anabolism and catabolism depends on many variables, but I'd have to say ECA is not catabolic used in the right environment.
