Sure, if you've hit your macros and wind up with 50g carbs and some fat to spare, enjoy yourself. Have that donut or whatever. THAT'S what IIFYM is about - fulfilling your macros with healthy foods, hitting micronutrient and fiber goals (which is impossible to do with donuts, pop tarts, and ice cream), and then enjoying any surplus.
Conversely, one could fulfill their protein requirement with shakes and then hit their fat/carb macros with junk food. Do you REALLY think they'll wind up with the same body composition (all else being equal) as the person eating a relatively healthy diet w/ some junk thrown in here and there? Gimme a break!!
