How do you aspirate on GLUTES?

Alright so this cycle I decided to try glute injections since I'm injecting ED and needed new spots to go. But for the life of me I cannot aspirate when I do them. I try. I pulled the plunger back like a whole ml marking today, but it just shot back rather than produced up any air bubbles (as far as I could tell). Does anyone else have trouble aspriating glutes? I can do it fine everywhere else, dunno what the problem is. Maybe it's just the awkward angle..

Be flexible! Your injection should be high and to the side, basically just behind the hip. You can do it. Not as hard as it seems.

If your able to pull on the plunger then you are fine. An air buble is not needed to be considered successful aspiration. A very slight tug is enough...

Like Kel said you need to hit the right spot. Look at a diagram of where to inject it is roughly the upper outer quadrant. makes a huge difference. Since hitting the right spot I always aspirate air and very rarely draw blood or even bleed when I pull out.

Try doing lying down on your side I find it so much easier to do it that way

really? I always thought the rule was pull back till you got an air bubble. I suppose if i was in a vein it wouldn't be so hard though.

No...you actually can cause issues by pulling to hard. If you are in a vessel you will hardly have to pull and it will fill up with blood.
