Steroids are a waste of time and money if you want to keep gains ?

This is quite funny...I was on ************ and was questioning users whether they keep a good portion of their gains when off of a cycle for a lenthy period of time. The vast majority , while getting belligerent , claim they DID keep most of their gains , and when I showed them other's opinions to the contrary , they name called and eventually banned me. They claim that anyone who loses most of their gains are weekend warriors..guys who stop lifting altogether , guys with poor diets , improper or no PCT , etc. The more I challenged them on it , the more they just ignored me or called me names , etc. Upon reading posts on this site , many are saying you lose most if not all of your gains in the long run. I was thinking of taking gear as I haven't hit my full potential yet , only to look good , but I would mking lifting a lifestyle , not an on and off hobby. 43 yers old 5 ' 10 170 lbs...want to get to 200 and stay there eventually ..possible on a few cycles to keep the gains for years ? Comments please. Thanks !

I'm not sure what your question is. Your 43 @5'10 and 170 pounds.

I think your asking if its possible to get to 200 on steroids and keep he weight on off cycle?

Well you don't need steroids to reach 200. I was ripped at 205 for 3 years during summer and around 225 in winters before I even thought about steroids. Diet is key to this.

My opinion is of you can't get to 200 ( or atleast 190 at your height) naturally while having a good
bf% (visible abs) your going to have a very hard time staying there after juice unless you do some radical with your training and diet.

Have you lifted before? What kind of shape are you in? Need more info.

This shows you've done very little research into steroids if not any.
Everything is diet and training related.
If you did say 1 cycle and went from shall we say 190lbs to 200lbs.
If you don't eat to accommodate your new found mass your going to loose it.
If you did this one cycle and continued to eat accordingly (adjusting tdee and macros) and after some time added an additional amount of surplus calories (say 500) you will continue to gain lean body mass as long as its good calories and not junk food.

    True in 2 cases

    1) you used AAS to grow beyond genetic limits and then discontinued use.

    2) You didnt diet and workout in a manner needed to support new growth

Not to take the piss but your name is exactly what I thought after I seem your picture. Ironic. Doyouevenliftbro? I only ask this because you look like you need a couple of years training to build a serious solid base before AAS are introduced.

That's fair enough..not insulted at all...but think of this..at one point 6 years ago , I lifted and ate everything in site just to bulk up..I got to 198 at the highest..only took me 3 months to gain close to 40 lbs natural...filled out clothes well , but obviously most was fat....is it healthy and or wise to do the same again naturally ? Eat a ton and lift till Ireach 200 , then try over time to turn that into muscle ? Obv gonna take years , but I'm gonna be dedicated...or do I just take it easy on stuffing myself ?

Great attitude knowing its gonna take years and being ok with it because it does, that's what the new guys in the gym don't realise muscles that stay take time to gain through hard work and good nutrition. On that note I would advise you hitting the nutrition section and post your diet the gurus there will help tremendously

My question is , should I keep lifting natural , or do a few cycles to reach my goal now ?..I don't want to lose a ton of gains by coming off. Is that possible ? Probably not judging by the feedback thus far ?

Again...loss of gainns are do to not supporting them, mainly with diet. Honestly you could go either way but there are risks with AAS that you have to keep in mind
