    Shoulders?

So right now I currently hit shoulder with back or sometimes on leg day. On Leg day its kind of a pain because I actually train my legs hard because I need more work on them. My question is how much sets do you guys normally do while working out shoulder on a high volume basis? Normally I do 30 mins about 12 sets 3 different workouts or sometime 3 sets of 4 different workouts. If 30 minutes good enough to get good results?

I wouldn't really advice working shoulders on a back day or a leg day, this split brings about more disadvantages than any possible advantage it may have for you on multiple levels regarding overall development, risk of injuries (with the back split) and so forth. Best split would be shoulders-triceps IMO.

Regarding your question: I don't see how anyone can possibly get away with a high volume training shoulder routine that only lasts for 30 min. A solid shoulder workout, whether HIT or HVT, should consist of a minimum of 4 exercises. Whether 30 min is good enough to get good results solely depends on a set of variables such as genetics, overall conditioning, training frequency and etc.

So best would be either shoulder alone or shoulder and tris.

Do yourself a favor and warm up good before, during and after shoulder exercises with either bands or light cable. Rotator cuff exercises are good to help reduce the possibility of injury. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
