If you had to pick a film(that was blockbuster or won any awards really) that was a really good movie, but probably the majority hasn't heard of....what would it be?

That's a good one. Too bad Elijah Wood is a big doucher and brings it down a little bit.
Yeah, he fit the part well... I see what you mean. His character was meant to be a puss at first I guess.
I can't really think of any right now. Not a huge movie buff. Pretty much everything I have seen is mainstream.
I will say that I watched Django Unchained on Friday night and it was one of the best movies I have ever seen. Obviously mainstream.
Last Man Standing - Bruce Willis, Christopher Walken, and Bruce Dern. Mid 90's.
"Wait till Hickey finds out!" lol
The Wrath (Charlie Sheen and Emelio Estevez)
That movie was one of just a few that I watched and then was totally disgusted. I've always been a motorhead and Hollywood has taken liberties over the years with what is actually possible with the internal combustion engine.
In the Wraith there is a car with a blower on it: the blower never turns while the engine is running.
.
Might be the same movie (can't remember) where there are a group of kids in a car trying to outrun something and the kid in the backseat starts telling the driver to "hit the blower! hit the blower!" and the driver "engages the blower" and they speed away.
movie magic.
A great movie where they screwed up is MAD MAX. He turns the interceptor's blower on and off a couple of times in that movie.
there is no such device
The Insider with Pacino and Crowe... awesome movie
Oh, niiiiiice choice. Really dug that flick.Originally Posted by Hoggage_54

Yup, that's the one...Crowe played the whistleblower. Didn't know it was true tho, that's interesting.Originally Posted by MickeyKnox

Another Good British Film!!!
Who the Fvck hasn't seen Boondock Saints.
I'm a huge fan of movie's with Good Dialogue (hence my obsession with The Big Lebowski) so for an unknown movie I would have to say........"London"
Slow Burn is good "what the fvck just happened" movie
Carlito's Way is a great "almost classic"
Mulholland Drive is good if you're looking for a good quality "Mind Fvck".
Apocalypto directed by mel Gibson. Once your past the initial shock of sub titles it's an awesome film or grit and determination. Love it!
Obscure film shout outs?
In the Mouth of Madness is one of the best horror movies no one's heard of.
Boondock Saints is one of the biggest piles of shit i've ever seen.
Can't believe nobody has mentioned "The Usual Suspects" - Not a box office hit, but one of my favorite movies of all time!!!!
