My buddy took his first shot in the arm lastnight and he said it hurt really bad then......And this morning he said he is in a shit ton of pain.Is there something wrong or is this normal?is there something he can do? Thanks again people!!!

This can be normal due to virgin muscle

Where in the arm did he pin?
What size needle?
How much and what of?
Did he follow sterile protocol (wiping area sterile wipe, changing needles after drawing from vial etc)

He used a 21g 1 1/2 needle but went in about an inch

1 ml test e------250mg

Middle of shoulder

And he said he used the same needle he drew with

probably just virgin muscle..

pain will go away within a few days..

until the next pin lol..

also 'he' could try a 25g needle (draw with the 21g and then swap to 25g to pin)

For sterility sakes I would change needle after drawing from vial as they go a little blunt.
And a 21g is a harpoon!
That's why he's hurting
Keep an eye on it but the pain should be gone 3-5 days

and he didnt listen why? I used a 23g for at least a year before going to a 25g and now 27g. Talk about smooth.
