    Cut or bulk before cycle

    I'm 5'8 175lbs at 8%
    I got all my gear ready for a test only cycle. Test enathate, arimidex, clomid, and nolvadex.
    I'm in no rush this will be my first cycle. But I wasn't going to start it for another month I was wondering if I should bulk before or cut before. I'm definately going to bulk for the 10 weeks on test e though. Plan on gaining 10-15 lbs on it.

    8% is plenty lean IMO. I would bulk for sure but I cant speak for your goals!

    Yes when I bulk I don't pass 11-12 percent. But im just seeing if I should start the cycle as lean as I can be or as big as I can be without any anabolics pretty much.

    Since you are planning a bulk then no sense in leaning out more and having even further to go. Concentrate on a clean slow bulk to minimize fat gain.

    Shouldn't I try to gain as much as possible during a cycle? Not saying dirty bulk but eat as much clean food as possible, to maximize results

    If you eat too many clories over maintanence you will still gain fat. Bulking requires an excess of cals..if the excess is too great...more fat!

    U want to gain as much LBM as possible. But too much food translates to gaining fat too. Gotta find that fine line...

    Exactly. But your muscle and liver will store more gycogen and absorb more protein for protein synthesis so I was planning on 1000 calories over maintenance a day. Which will be approx 2 pounds a week. How does that seem.

    Best to know your body and gauge the way you matabolize food and store fat. You can start at 1000 and adjust down or increase cardio if you feel your gaining fat too fast

    Cool I appreciate it. I was gonna stay at the gym for longer. Probably do 2 hours lifts 6 days a week due to have anabolic help as well. So I will be burning more calories in general

    Easy killer...2 hoursX6 days. You should easily be in and outa there in half that time. Maybe have your routine evaluated in the excersise/workout forum.
